Soapmaker`s Recommendations
 
 
 
We are often asked which soaps we recommend, which soaps are best for dry skin, oily skin, etc. Here is what our family personally uses, and what our immediate family requests. Please email me with any questions you may have, I always love to chat about soap!
 
 
For a facial bar, I switch between the Sweet Cheeks facial bar and the Skin Saver facial bar. The Skin Saver is by far our best selling facial soap, and it is wonderful for treatment and prevention of skin trauma. The Sweet Cheeks bar is a wonderful exfoliating bar with a rich, warm scent. Both bars are 100% all natural and treat my fair complexion gently. I also switch between the Crunchy Mama Botanical Shampoo for Dry Hair and any shampoo bar. My personal favorite shampoo bar is the Pure Peppermint Shampoo Bar. It has a rich, creamy lather and a cool, fresh scent. I use the Natural Detangler/Leave-In Conditioner without fail. This is by far one of my favorite products. My personal favorite detangler scent is My Elysium. I enjoy the scent of lavender in my hair. My soap preference changes all the time, but I always have a bar with colloidal oatmeal in the bath, as well as a bar scented with essential oils, such as Mermaid or my favorite, Sweet Dreams & Mint. When I recently stayed in the hospital with my son, my husband brought us a bar of this soap. The sweet, calming scent soothed us both and uplifted our spirits. My new favorite product is our Magic Mint Foot Cream. This cool cream leaves my feet tingly and refreshed. I started using this wonderful cream on my feet, and now also use it on my elbows as well. I highly recommend this cream!
 
 
My husband always grabs a bar of Caesar. That is by far his favorite scent. He also uses the Extreme Cream daily. This thick, moisturizing cream is very soothing and can be scented to match his favorite soap. He has finally made the switch to an all natural Shampoo bar (he uses it to shave as well), and he has commented that he doesn't know why he didn't switch sooner!
 
 
My 12 year old daughter also likes the Caesar scent, but she often uses Pink Grapefruit. I keep a bar of Unscented Shampoo Bar in the shower for her use.
 
 
My 8 year old daughter loves the Berry Clean scented products. She enjoys her Hydra Mist in that scent, as well as the Natural Detangler/Leave-In Conditioner in an essential oil scent. It makes her long, curly hair very manageable and easy to brush.
 
 
My 7 and 6 year old daughter and son have very sensitive skin. I use Unscented Shampoo bar for both of them, and then a bar with mild colloidal oatmeal, such as the Honey Bear or Baby Bear. I always spray their hair and scalp with the Natural Detangler/Leave-In Conditioner. Right now we are using a Lavender and Rosemary blend. Both of my youngest children use medication to treat their skin conditions, but we also use the Extreme Cream with the My Elysium essential oil blend as well.
 
 
When my sister-in-law developed a bad rash, I suggested she try our Natural Detangler/Leave-In Conditioner to soothe her skin. I mixed the My Elysium essential oil blend for her, and immediately the spray soothed her rash. I frequently use this spray on myself and my kids to treat scrapes, mild burns, etc. The aloe is very soothing and the pro vitamin B in this mixture promotes skin healing. My sister-in-law has been back for more of this product! My brother-in-law uses the Tea Tree & Lemon Shampoo Bar. Like my husband, he also has sensitive skin and scalp issues. This mild bar is effective and gentle in treating dry scalp.
 
 
My mother loves the Oatmeal Honey Vanilla soap. This was one of our first soaps, and my mom got one of the first bars. She recently has been using the Hydra Mist in the My Elysium blend, and she told me that when my neices visit her, they love to use her bottle of Plumeria Creamy Lotion.
